Today, January 30, 2013 we had a Snow Day. The 4″-6″ inches of snow and blowing winds made the roads too hazardous for us to get to school safely this morning. Unfortunately, we were going to start our 4th grade State Writing test today so this is going to put us behind a day, but I am sure the kids will spend a little time today thinking about leads, organization and satisfying endings. I have been wanting to create another song, but time has been an issue, well this gift of a snow day was all I needed to get my creative juices flowing. The snow day was my inspiration and since I am fighting a cold, I was thinking of my fellow teachers who work and work and rarely take time for themselves. I hope you get a little giggle and can take at least 30 seconds for yourselves today.
