The goal of the TeamMate program is to see youth graduate from high school and pursue post-secondary education.  To reach this goal, youth meet one hour per week with a caring adult who serves as a mentor.

The TeamMates Mentoring Program currently provides a mentor for more than 750 students in Lincoln, yet there are still many, many students who want a mentor.

Contact your student’s counselor to receive more information about TeamMates.

YMCA Lefler After School Clubs (CLC)

YMCA Lefler After School Clubs (CLC) are an extended school program at Lefler Middle School, created to improve student learning and development through academic support, physical fitness, character development, and enrichment activities. Any Lefler student may enroll in the afternoon program. Participants engage in daily academic support and supervised homework time and then select from multiple experiential learning opportunities throughout the week. For more information about CLC contact Emmary Grieger at egrieger@ymcalincoln.org.
