Students created projects with 100 items, brought 100 items for show and share, 100 high fives were collected by teachers and math parades featured counting to 100. Recess activities were also based on the 100th day theme.  The sunny, 51 degree day was enjoyed 100%.

Each month students focus on skills and learn ways to overcome adversity, be successful in life and to focus on “others” rather than themselves.

For physical activity, social time, and to enjoy fresh air, we run or walk two laps every day around our playground.  The problem is… we only have half a walking path.  The other half is gravel.  When the weather is rainy or snowy, we can’t do our laps, because the gravel is full of puddles and mud.  Our friends in wheelchairs can’t do the laps with us, because their chairs don’t roll in the gravel.

Will you help us raise money to finish our walking path?

Dr. Jane Stavem, LPS Associate Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, visited Randolph School as part of her “getting to know the district” plan for her first semester in Lincoln Public Schools.  Fifth Grade students Elijah and Hailey escorted Dr. Stavem on a tour of our school.
