Planning for the Future

Planning for the future is important for all students.  Counselors help students research potential career paths, discover strengths and interests, secure financial resources, and develop personalized academic plans.  Students will use Career Cruising each year, and learn about resources and opportunities through Education Quest and the Learn to Dream scholarship.

Career Cruising

Students use this online tool to explore career and college options and develop a career plan. Career Cruising can be accessed wherever Internet access is available. Pound students should use “Pound” as the username and “middle” as the password to log in.  Resources for parents are also available.

KnowHow2GO

EducationQuest helps 8th, 9th and 10th grade students prepare for college and a future career through a program called KnowHow2GO.

Learn to Dream Scholarship

Every graduating Lincoln public or private high school student has the opportunity to further their education by attending Southeast Community College (SCC) in Lincoln, Milford or Beatrice.  For many students, the first year of tuition is free.
