Warm Up: Please use the What is Buddhism? video – to corroborate the information in the corresponding column on your World Religions graphic organizer. Add/amend information as needed.
Class Work: Please share the information about Buddhism on your World Religions graphic organizer with your assigned travel partner.
Please attach your World Religions graphic organizer to p. 66 with a hinge.
Standard 4.1 Summative Assessment: On a sheet of notebook paper, please write a paragraph (at minimum) explaining how religion impacts a culture. Include examples from the four religions we have reviewed (World Religions graphic organizer, notebook p. 66) that address the four ways religion plays a role in society (Why Study Religion?; Role of Religion in Society Notes, notebook p. 63). When finished, make sure your name is on your paper and hand in on the front table.
