Class Work: Please title p. 64 of your notebook, “Who were the Aztecs?” Then write ONE question you have about these ancient Americans. We will attempt to answer your question in our study of the Aztecs over the next week. Share your questions with the class.
Close read – underline, highlight, annotate – Student Reading: Achievements of the Aztecs. Then write a one-sentence summary at the bottom of p. 2. Share your responses with your table partner.
Respond to the questions on the video guide as view the video In Search of History: The Aztec Empire. At the conclusion of viewing, share your responses with your travel partner.
