Guidance Counseling at Pathfinder

Pathfinder provides limited guidance counseling services through a volunteer certified guidance counselor, Susan (Sue) Seacrest.  Sue meets with students on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the school year and works to provide the following for our students:

  • Lincoln Public School Transcript
  • A list of classes needed to earn a high school diploma.
  • A worksheet that outlines the above information.
  • Suggestions for classes to be taken at the student’s next placement that will help move them towards a diploma.

A written copy of the above information is placed in the personal property of each student which gives them an opportunity to utilize a credit summary and suggestions for classes at their next placement.

At the student’s request, information about services for earning a GED are also provided.

Please feel free to contact The Pathfinder Education Program to learn more about the guidance counseling program.
