Today is a Y day

Turkey Pepperoni and Sausage Calzone w/ Marinara Sauce

Chef Salad or Meatless Salad w/ Roll

*You’ve earned your first Spirit Day by contributing to the Penny Wars!  Monday, May 7th is Pajama Day.  Remember that all pajamas must be school appropriate.  Keep bringing spare change for Make-A-Wish to earn your next Spirit Day!


*Do you want to see a teacher with purple hair on the last day of school?  Well, now’s your chance by participating in the Penny Wars.  Vote which teacher should color their hair, by putting money in their bucket in the cafeteria.


*Have you pre-ordered your yearbook?  There are a limited amount of yearbooks available for pre-order.  Please bring $25 cash or check (made to Moore Middle School) to Mrs. Burkey in Room 203 after school this week.  She will accept pre-orders through today.  Yearbooks will be distributed to those who ordered them on Monday, May 21st after school.


*Attention 7th graders:  The discounted price deadline to sign up for the 2019 Washington DC/New York City trip with Lux students has been extended until Thursday, May 24th.  Get signed up early in order to receive the $150.00 off the total price of the trip.  If you have questions, contact either Mr. Irvine at Lux Middle School (402-436-1220 or or Mrs. Mercure (


*Attention 7th and 8th graders:  Looking to make some money this summer?  If you’re 13 or older and at least 5 ft 2 inches tall, consider detasseling!  Applications are available in the main office or in Mr. Ruisinger’s office.
