*Today is an Elementary Only Out Day.  All middle schools and high schools are in session as usual.

*In Nebraska, Make-A-Wish granted 14,000 wishes in 2011 alone.  We can help contribute to that number here at Moore by participating in the Penny Wars and Hat/Hood Day so more kids with life-threatening illnesses can get their wish.

*Have you pre-ordered your yearbook?  If not, there’s still time.  There are a limited amount of yearbooks available for pre-order.  Please bring $25 cash or check (made to Moore Middle School) to Mrs. Burkey in Room 203 after school next week.  She will accept pre-orders through next Friday, May 4th.  Yearbooks will be distributed to those who ordered them on Monday, May 21st after school.

*This year’s BackPack Extra Mile Walk is April 28, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Lincoln East High School.  It costs about $250 for each student to receive a backpack for a year?  Help LPS meet their 2018 goal of 3,500 participants and $210,000 raised by donating toward this worthy cause.  Any amount of money is welcome!  Checks can be made to the Food Bank of Lincoln.  All money should be turned in to the Moore Health Office.

*Attention 7th and 8th graders:  Looking to make some money this summer?  If you’re 13 or older and at least 5 ft 2 inches tall, consider detasseling!  Applications are available in the main office or in Mr. Ruisinger’s office.
