*Thank you for your parent support by helping students keep fidget items at home.

 

KFOR punch cards are for sale in the office. They are $5.00 each and all of the money made from the punch cards will go to the PTSO.  These are only available until the last day of school.

Some of the new items on the card this year is Ice Hockey, free admission during public skate times, with the punch card. Also, free admission to a Saltdogs game, with an adult.

8th grade girls who are interested in playing Girls Basketball at Lincoln Northeast next year, please see Ms. McVay for a handout!

*Registration is now open for School Community Intervention & Prevention’s (SCIP) annual fundraiser, “Hop, SCIP, Jump and RUN”.  The event, set to take place on May 13, 2017, at Lincoln Southwest High School, will feature a 1-mile Fun Run and a 5K Race and is open to both children and adults.  Participants will also have the opportunity to visit sponsor booths to become eligible for prizes. Prizes include Scheel’s gift cards, Juice Stop gift certificates, Kansas City Royals tickets and more!  Proceeds will benefit SCIP, a program of Lincoln Medical Education Partnership.

The 5K Race is $25.00 per person and the 1-mile Fun Run is $15.00 per person. Children under the age of 9 must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets purchased by April 28, 2017, include an event t-shirt. Registrations will be accepted at the door.

Registration: 8:00 am

1-mile Fun Run: 9:00 am

5K: 9:30 am

A letter from CLC Program Director Spencer Smith….

 

Due to a shortage of staff, clubs will only be offered for FULL-PROGRAM participants, those who are signed up to stay from 3:00-5:30 pm, for the month of May. If you only attend clubs until 4:15 pm, please read the list of clubs that will continue to be offered. These clubs may only be attended if you have been an active participant all quarter, or have had teacher invite only.

 

All other first hour clubs will end on April 28th! If you attend clubs until 5:30 pm, a daily schedule will be posted for first and second hour club offerings each week of May. ALL clubs will end Friday, May 19th, 2017. There will be NO clubs the last week of school.

 

If you have specific questions about whether or not your club is ending, please ask your teacher.

Science/Math Support

Roads, Rails, Racecars

Gardening Club

Science Olympiad (last day MAY 4)

April means it’s Cans 4 Books time!  Bring in a grocery sack of pop cans to the media center and you will win a poster from the book fair.  Posters can be picked up after school in the media center.  Money from the recycled cans will go to buy new books for the library!
