Friday, April 21 (X Day)
*Mickle Earth Day Festival
When: Friday, April 21st
Time: 3:00 – 5:00 pm
Where: In the mickle garden
Students, Staff, and their families are invited tomorrow our Earth Day Festival in the garden. There will be booths to check out, food to taste, a scavenger hunt, and a garden bed to plant. All of our students at Mickle have had the chance to tour the garden this week and learn about this event. We would love to get families and the community more involved in our awesome garden. Email questions to Mrs. Hammond at email@example.com
8th Graders: Thursday, April 27th during Period 1 will be the annual 8th grade class picture. All attending 8th graders on that day will be a part of the group picture.
If weather cooperates, we will take the picture outside on the hill by the 8th grade classrooms. The picture will be taken if conditions are cloudy or wet. If Thursday’s weather is rainy, we will look at rescheduling options. If families wish to have a copy, the cost should be paid to the photographer during the picture time. Extra envelopes are available from Period 1 teachers OR in the office.
The BackPack program committee wants to invite our students to a friendly competition until next Wednesday, April 26th. In your 5th period, collect any spare change you have as a class to donate to the BackPack program. The class with the highest total by the end of Wednesday will receive a Pizza party for lunch on Friday, April 28th. The grade level with the highest total raised will get early out 3 minutes early the following Friday, April 28th!
If you have any questions, please see Miss Schroeder, Mrs. Binkley, or Mr. Bool. Thank you!
ATTENTION 8TH GRADE PARENTS!!! We are looking for gift card donations in the amounts of $5 to $10. Some examples would be (Rita’s, Juice Stop, Marcus Theaters, Casey’s and Jimmy John’s). The gift cards will be used as prizes at the 8th grade end of the year party. Thank you for all your help! Any questions please email Susan Van Bibber at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are donating gift cards, please have them turned in by Friday, May 5th.
