Announcements for Parents – #Robinmicklems:

Dear Parents,
Mickle is participating in a survey on bullying. Because bullying is a community problem, the Bully Survey System encourages a community-wide effort toward dealing with bullying. Students, school personnel, and parents are surveyed with different forms that give equivalent information. Comparisons across students, teachers, and parents may unlock the clues behind a school’s bullying problems if there is one. The survey is anonymous.
We are asking your input in this survey as a Mickle parent.  Results are used to make data based intervention strategies and choices.

There will be no CLC or Clubs on the last day of school.

KFOR, along with local businesses, have teamed up to bring us Summer Fun Punch Tickets.  Tickets cost only $5.00 each, and 100% of the proceeds stays at Mickle to be used for our students.  Businesses providing free or reduced cost activities this summer include Shrine Bowl, Paint Yourself Silly, Lincoln Children’s Zoo and Museum, Champions Fun Center, Lincoln Saltdogs, Lancaster County Super Fair, Urban Legends Art, Laser Tag, Lux Center for the Arts, Grisanti’s, and Lost in Fun.   These activities are valued at over $50, but you get them for $5.  This is a deal.  You need to purchase one ticket per child. Tickets are sold in the Mickle Office before and after school beginning May 9th, Wednesday.  Questions can be directed to Susie Carlson –wegotkidz@aol.com.

 Announcements for Students:

Mickle’s Planner Word of the Week: Time– It’s less important to get more things done than it is to make sure you’re getting the important things done.  What matters most?

Mickle Diversity Club will meet today, May 17th from 3-4 in the media center.  Please turn in your permission forms to Davis or Rousseau so we can make plans for our final celebration.   If you need another copy of the invitation see Mrs. Davis.

After school candy bar sales will begin in the month of May.  Student who would like to participate are welcome to bring a $1 for each bar purchased.  A “thank you” coupon for a free order of Pizza Hut breadsticks is printed on the label.
