Announcements for Parents – #Robinmicklems:

8th GRADE PARTY:  Anyone interested in helping with food for the 8th Grade Party can contact Sue Sattler at dssattler5@windstream.net or Amy Uhlmann at aluhlmann@hotmail.com.   We are also looking for raffle prizes for the party.  Free food coupons are great.  Gift cards to stores like Best Buy, Bath & Body Works, etc. are great.  Anyone wishing to help with raffle prizes can contact Amy Cink at amycink@live.com.   The next planning meeting will be today, May 3rd at 6:30 p.m. in the Mickle Media Center.

 Announcements for Students:

Mickle’s Planner Word of the Week: Reliability    – It’s not easy to keep track of everything you need to do! Use your planner as an extension of your brain.

The Pershing Elementary School needs your help.  The School Carnival is Friday, May 11th.   Food is from 5 to 7 pm and Games from 5:30-8 pm.  We need your help running the games.  The shifts are for an hour but feel free to sign up for more than one shift.  We would welcome past Pershing students coming to help the current students have fun.  Please contact the Pershing PTO President Wes Nelepovitz to sign up to help  Phone (402)464-0605    email wesnjean@wesnjean.com

Good news! The library is holding ANOTHER book fair in the library before and after school May 7-10.  This is a special buy one get one free book fair!  Stock up for summer!  If you would like to volunteer to help, we will have a small prize.  Come sign up in the library!

After school candy bar sales will begin in the month of May.  Student who would like to participate are welcome to bring a $1 for each bar purchased.  A “thank you” coupon for a free order of Pizza Hut breadsticks is printed on the label.

Attention all 8th graders who are planning on playing football next year at Northeast. You and your parents need to attend a players’ and parents’ meeting on Wednesday, May 9, at 7:00 P.M. in the Northeast Auditorium.

 “HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL” is coming to Mickle Middle School!!!!  Everyone is invited to come sing with us at our rehearsals. We meet in the Choir Room 142 before school at 7:15 am and after school at 3:00 pm.  Our concert will be Thursday, May 17th!

Summer Registration forms for ETS are in the counseling center.  ETS students please stop by and get one.  Summer program is from June 6- July 13 at UNL and it is FREE.
