Announcements for Parents – #Robinmicklems:

8th GRADE PARTY:  Anyone interested in helping with food for the 8th Grade Party can contact Sue Sattler at dssattler5@windstream.net or Amy Uhlmann at aluhlmann@hotmail.com.   We are also looking for raffle prizes for the party.  Free food coupons are great.  Gift cards to stores like Best Buy, Bath & Body Works, etc. are great.  Anyone wishing to help with raffle prizes can contact Amy Cink at amycink@live.com.   The next planning meeting will be Thursday, May 3rd at 6:30 p.m. in the Mickle Media Center.

 Announcements for Students:

Mickle’s Planner Word of the Week: Organization– Feeling stressed or overwhelmed? Get organized! Taking the time to do so will save you time and anxiety in the end.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL” is coming to Mickle Middle School!!!!  Everyone is invited to come sing with us at our rehearsals beginning Thursday & Friday, April 26th & 27th.  We meet in the Choir Room 142 before school at 7:15 am and after school at 3:00 pm.  Our concert will be Thursday, May 17th!

8^th Graders:  Next Wednesday, April 25th during Period 1 will be the annual 8^th grade class picture. All attending 8^th graders on that day will be a part of the group picture.  If you wish to have a copy, the $12 cost should be paid to the photographer during the picture time.  Extra envelopes are available in the office for those that wish to purchase and don’t have their money.  A few copies of the order envelopes are available from your Period 3 teacher.

A reminder for all 8^th grade students that are Northeast bound and are thinking of going to the LNE engineering camp the deadline to register is the end of April.

The card club will be hosting a “Magic The Gathering” card tournament on Tuesday, April 24 in room 120, Mr. Rowe’s room.  This day is a PLC day and the Tournament will start promptly at 2pm and will last until 3:45pm.  Prizes will be rewarded to players and winners.  There is a sign up sheet to participate in the tournament outside the media center.  This will be the last card club meeting, so be sure to sign up so that you don’t miss out on the games and prizes.  See you there!

Any current 8th grade girl who is interested in playing basketball at Lincoln Northeast next year, please see Ms. McVay for information regarding summer basketball teams & clinics.

Summer Registration forms for ETS are in the counseling center.  ETS students please stop by and get one.  Summer program is from June 6- July 13 at UNL and it is FREE.
