A $400 scholarship will be awarded to one Native American graduating senior who will be attending a 2 or 4 year college or university.
Applicants are required to complete the Lincoln Community Foundation Application Form online at https://lcf.academicworks.com and submit the form and all required attachments electronically. Applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on March 15th.

1. High school transcript(s) (copies of transcripts are acceptable).
2. Financial Information that shows Expected Family Contribution (EFC) number, which is on the first page of the applicant’s Student Aid Report (SAR).
3. A copy of your proof of enrollment form or membership card for Native American Tribes

The Nancy Ganser and Diana Pasco scholarship provides one Lincoln Public Schools graduating senior, $1,000 towards post-secondary education (student must have been a Food Bank BackPack Program recipient in elementary or middle school***). The student must be on schedule to graduate in spring of 2020 and ready to use the scholarship funds in the fall of 2020. Funds will be sent directly to the institution after the student is enrolled and verification of enrollment has been confirmed by the Food Bank of Lincoln. ***BackPack Program provides food-filled backpacks each Friday throughout the school year. If you received these bags in elementary or middle school, you are encouraged to apply for this scholarship. BackPack Program primarily serves students who are on or qualify for Free/Reduced lunch. If you did not receive a food filled back during elementary or middle school, you are not eligible to apply.
The scholarship winner will be chosen by a committee comprised of Food Bank of Lincoln supporters and staff members. The winner will be selected based on how well the applicant conveys the impact the BackPack Program had on his or her family and how the scholarship will help the student.

The Summer Scholars Program is a college preparation program for juniors in high school.
Selected students will:
- Participate in leadership building and career exploration
- Take a UNO college academic course (3-credits) from June 1– July 2, 2020
- Experience college life by living on UNO’s campus residence hall for a 5-day stay.
There is NO cost to the student if selected to participate in the Summer Scholars Program. Tuition, fees, books, parking permits, etc. will be covered. This is a great opportunity!
To qualify, students must be juniors (when applying) and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 grading scale. ANY and ALL students who are juniors in High School and have a minimum 2.75 GPA can apply.

The St. Elizabeth Health Career Camp and summer internship are great opportunities for students interested in a health-related career.
Brochures and applications for the St. Elizabeth Health Camp/Internship are now available in the counseling office. The Health camp will be held June 1-3 for current Sophomores and Juniors. The Internship will be held May 26 – June 12 for current Juniors. If interested, pick up a brochure and speak to your counselor. Applications must be postmarked or delivered to LPSDO by March 20.

Southeast Community College in Milford is having a John Deere Career Day on Thursday, March 5, 2020. Plains Equipment Group would like to invite students who have a true interest in the John Deere Ag Tech program to join them for the event. Sophomores through seniors with an interest in this program are welcome to attend. The career day will include program information and student presentations; campus tours are available as well.
All students and guests who attend the John Deere Ag Tech Career Day with Plains Equipment Group are invited to lunch at 11:30am at the Dunlap Center on campus. At the luncheon they will discuss the support that Plains Equipment Group offers students who are selected to be sponsored in the program.
