A couple of tidbits from non-Nebraska schools, for your information:

  • Columbia (NY), Colgate (NY), and Swarthmore (PA) are among a growing number of selective schools that will now, as of the Class of 2018, accept self-reported ACT/SAT scores (click the link if you don’t know what that means :)). Only admitted students will be required to submit official scores through the respective testing organizations.
  • The following schools have added a “Courses and Grades” section to their Common App application that they suggest could add 20-30 minutes to its completion time:
    • Chapman University (CA)
    • The George Washington University (Washington, DC)
    • The Ohio State University (OH)
    • Purdue University (IN)
    • University of Southern California (CA)
    • West Virginia University (WV)

Info on how to complete (videos, infographics, etc.) can be found here.
