The Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, is hosting its next Annual Criminal Justice Conference on Monday Oct. 2nd, 2017. It is FREE to the students, counselors or their parents. It will be held at the Student Union building, Ponderosa Room, with registration starting at 8:30 AM, Career Fair open at 8:30 AM and the conference starting at 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. In addition to the below speakers, the conference will feature different criminal justice related agencies present at the adjacent Career Fair, which students are also invited to attend.
*Please be advised that these presentations are geared to university students majoring in Criminal Justice. The presentations may be too graphic and disturbing to some students who are not interested in Criminal Justice.
UNK is able to provide you and your students a 20% discount on your meal at the Student Union for lunch. The cost for each individual will be $7.17 + tax, for an all you can eat buffet. Buses can drop students off at the Student Union and may be parked in parking lot #20 which is located in the northwest part of campus, on the road leading up to the Country Club where the State Cross Country race is held. Parking is limited on campus, those bringing their own cars will be able to find parking east of campus on the adjoining city streets.
