UNL’s College of Business Administration: DREAM BIG Academy

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) College of Business Administration is accepting applications for the Annual DREAM BIG Academy to be held July 10 – July 15, 2016.

Applications can be submitted from the student themselves, or a nomination for a student can be submitted by an educator.

The Academy is also accepting applications from UNL students to serve as mentors to the high school students during the Academy. Mentors would be a paid with a stipend and students do not have to be Business majors, only currently attending UNL.

What is the DREAM BIG Academy?

The Academy is a five-day symposium at UNL where students will live the college experience and learn about the world of Business. Students will:

  • Participate in a college experience firsthand – academically and socially
  • Network with peers, business leaders as well as UNL faculty and staff
  • Tour local businesses
  • UNL Professors will conduct mock classes and lectures to give the students an idea of what to expect with college courses
  • Align skills with their career goals
  • Present their ideas in a professional context
  • Learn about opportunities at UNL
  • Free room and board in a UNL Residence Hall

The Academy will be conducted in English, but bilingual Mentors may be available to help students if needed.
