What are the eligibility requirements?
Those who apply, or are nominated, should be:
- Current high school juniors expecting to graduate high school in 2017
- First-generation, and/or free and reduced lunch recipients, and/or have knowledge and experience in diverse communities
- Students who have a 2.5 GPA or higher
- Have an interest in Business
Students who live in Lincoln are responsible for travel to UNL, students who live outside of Lincoln may have transportation provided by UNL if needed.
A central pick-up location may be determined after the applications have been sent in. Last year, there were pick-up locations in Omaha and Grand Island.
Applications are now being accepted, the deadline is March 4, 2016.
