Lincoln Public Schools Association of Office Professionals

About Us

The purpose of Lincoln Public Schools Association of Office Professionals(LPSAOP) is to recognize our member’s unique roles in the education system, promote educational opportunities, serve the youth of our community, and provide time for each of us to come together with other educational office professionals.

Each LPS Office Professional has the opportunity to participate in the Professional Standards Program. This program pays off literally depending on your involvement to the association, professional development and education. There are many professional development

opportunities throughout the year. Events are hosted by LPSAOP, Nebraska Association of Office Professionals(NEOPA), National Association of Office Professionals (NAEOP) and LPS. LPS has recently created the G.O.L.D. training series, this is training created and catered to specifically LPS Office Professionals.

The pride of volunteerism continues to grow through our Community Networking committee. The Community Networking committee is continually looking for ideas and opportunities for our members to give back. Watch your email for events throughout the year. Our association is very proud to award a scholarship annually to a student from Lincoln Public Schools. Having over 137 LPSAOP members in over sixty-five facilities on the Lincoln Public Schools campus, we provide at least four social gatherings a year, so our members have a chance to socialize on a more personal level.

Our Mission

The Lincoln Public Schools Association of Office Professionals is committed to the professional growth and development of its members while supporting our youth and community.
