This class is designed to provide students with information about what business is and for students to learn how business is organized, is operated, and is managed.  Topics of this course include: leadership skills, strategic planning, management functions, business ethics, human resource management, financial decision-making, marketing strategies, and entrepreneurship.  The class consists of a combination of traditional classwork (notes, assignments and exams) along with projects (both group and individual). This class is appropriate for anyone considering a career in business or becoming a business owner.  Credit at Southeast Community College may be granted for this course in combination with other Business or Marketing courses.
