The LNS registration guide lists all offered courses with a short description and course number. The guide also lists grade level requirements, and prerequisite classes. It is highly recommended that students registering for LNS Science classes review this guide.

30 Credits in science are required, including:
- 5 credits minimum must be from an earth science course; choose from: Geoscience or Geoscience-Differentiated.
- 5 credits minimum must be from a physical science-physics course; choose from: Physical Science, or Physical Science-Differentiated, or Physics, or Physics-Differentiated.
- 5 credits minimum must be from a life science course; choose from: Biology or Biology-Differentiated.
- 5 credits minimum must be from a physical science-chemistry course; choose from: Physical Science-Chemistry, or Chemistry, or Chemistry-Differentiated.
Recommended high school science sequence:
- Grade 9: Physical Science* (1 semester) AND Geoscience* (1 semester)
- Grade 10: Biology* (2 semesters)
- Grade 11: Chemistry* (2 semesters)
- Grade 12: Physics* (2 semesters)
*Or differentiated version. Note: Pre-Med students are reminded that the Med. College Admission Test includes Verbal Reasoning, Biology, Chemistry, & Physics.
