Staff Resources
If the schools’ library media centers are for students, then the Staff Library is for anyone who works with students. It’s where educators can find resources to enhance both their classrooms and their professional work. In the Professional Library Catalog, educators will find multicultural, preview, professional, and ELL collections of books for all age levels, as well as Video on Demand, audio, kits and puppets. All students and staff also have access to amazing online resources in the Digital Content Resources. Fast Links on the right will take you to the catalogs and Digital Content Resources.
Current and archived professional periodicals for all curricular areas can be checked out or read online (using Gale’s Educator’s Reference Complete, a database in the Digital Content Resources). LPS Media Resources also include videos, puppets, AccuCut machines and dies, and much more. To keep you up to date with new arrivals in the library and current online resources, the What’s New? links to the right will be helpful.
