I have proudly served the Lincoln Public School district for 17 years as a Social Studies teacher, Athletic Director, Gifted Facilitator, Instructional Coach and Administrator. Before teaching I graduated from Doane College and competed in track and field and sang in Doane Choir. Running and singing are still two of my favorite hobbies. I continued my academic endeavors at Doane and completed a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in 2009 and Educational Leadership in 2011. My husband and I have 2 children, Brin who is 11, and then Wes who is 8. They love all sports and keep us busy!
My students would have described me as passionate about the stories of history and a teacher who cared about their success in school, life, and beyond even after having left my classroom.
