This year marked the 7th annual Lincoln High Cross Country Alumni Run. Eighteen brave alums showed up to challenge the course. It seems that few were still pretty sore following last years run and stayed home to recover.
Hall of Fame Coach Bob White was here to act as the official starter and made sure that everyone toed the line correctly!
Megan Ksionzek (05) won the women’s division and set a new alumni course record for the 4k course with a time of 17:00. Wendy Johnsen (89)(LHS Assistant Coach & proud mother of her second child and first son, Kain) finished in 2nd place in the women’s race.
Mike Wilson (91) won the mens 5k race in a time of 17:58, followed by Mitch Memming (04) and Brian Christensen (06).
Both Megan and Mike’s times would still earn them a varsity letter!
Larry Jones (78) and Brandon Memming (00) continued their streak of having completed all seven alumni runs.
