How to win: It’s easy – students enter at walsworthyearbooks.com/photocontest or on Facebook.

Prizes awarded to one photographer per category – students can enter up to five photos total.

Photo Contest Categories:

• Academics: Learning in progress.
• Clubs & Organizations/Community Service: Organizations shaping people and communities
• Feature/Portrait: A person’s feelings or personality using the face and emotion as the focus
• Junior High/Middle School: Middle school photo of any genre taken by a middle schooler
• Photo Illustration: A modified or manipulated photo with special effects used to tell a story
• School Spirit: School pride displayed by anyone not competing in an athletic event
• Sports Action: Athletes in action and the spirit of competition
• Sports Reaction: Focus on fans and athletes responses to an emotional moment during a sporting event
• Student Life: Who students really are, what they do and why
• Yearbook Life: Yearbookers in action doing everyday yearbook duties in and out of the classroom – interviewing, photographing, reporting, teaching and deadline days

Winners will be chosen by a panel of expert judges and will be selected based on the quality of photo, appropriateness to category, photography rules followed and creativity demonstrated.

The contest is open to all schools across the United States. Must be 13 years or older to enter. Photos must be taken by a student attending a senior high, junior high, middle school or college. Junior high or middle school yearbook advisers may enter a student’s photo on their behalf. For complete rules, go to walsworthyearbooks.com/contest.
