Classroom Expectations

• Character counts.
• Put off assumptions; let me teach you, you can try.  Don’t say, “I can’t”.
• Attend class.  Be on time.
• Listen / Participate actively and reflectively.  Be fully present.  Complete all required work using your best skills.
• Cell phones, MP3 players, iPods will be taken away and turned into security.

• Use the restroom and get drinks before or after class.  You must have your ID and planner to leave the classroom.
• Assigned seats – BE THERE, WORK THERE.  Take care of your space and the art room area.  Tabletop and floor must be cleaned.

Consequences for unacceptable behavior, disruptions, tardy, or truancy:

• Student notified with a verbal warning.
• Parent notified.
• Referral to principal.
