The overall goal of this unit is to work with a client and create a 15-30 second stop motion animation advertisement about the client’s product or service. One component of the unit is heavy in applying processes and media to use digital cameras, iMovie, Premiere, GarageBand, Flash, and any other software necessary to create an original stop motion style animation. The other major concept is in communication using advertising persuasions, target audience motivators, slogans, and tag lines to draw in the audience. Listed below are the specifics of the unit and how it is assessed.

(A) Exceeds District Standards
Focused on desired outcome with client. Open to changes in work and adapts to different needs throughout the process of creating. Completed the ad within satisfaction of the client and presented ad for public display. The finished work reflects use of the original plans.

Focused on desired outcome with client. Could have adapted more to different needs throughout the process of creating. Completed the ad within satisfaction of the client and presented ad for public display. The finished work mostly reflects use of the original plans.
(C) Approaches But Does Not Meet District Standards
Some focus on desired outcome with client. Could have discussed more ideas and worked with the client. Client was mostly satisfied and presented ad for public display. The finished work moved away from the original plans.
(D) Does Not Meet District Standards
Some focus on desired outcome with client. Did not consider clients input. Client was mostly satisfied and presented ad for public display. The finished work does not reflect the original plans.
