YMCA Lefler After School Clubs (CLC) are an extended school program at Lefler Middle School, created to improve student learning and development through academic support, physical fitness, character development, and enrichment activities. Any Lefler student may enroll in the afternoon program. Participants engage in daily academic support and supervised homework time and then select from multiple experiential learning opportunities throughout the week. Lefler Singers is a group that is open to all students in grades 6-8.  We meet on Mondays, beginning August 28 for first quarter.  See the attached information page for additional information and permission forms.
The Lefler Select choir is an auditioned group, open to 7th and 8th graders seeking a more advanced level of choral music performance.  Auditions will be held on August 23 & 25 before and after school, by appointment.  Contact Mrs. Oltman to schedule an appointment time that fits with your student’s schedule.  See the attached information sheet for additional information and the permission to audition form.
