STUDENT NEWS:
- The Lefler News Team will hold its first meeting next Monday in Room 225. See Ms. Emmary in CLC to sign up. Also join the newsroom google class using the code: 1chx3e.
- 7th and 8th cross country runners, come ready to run today. 6th grade may join Monday, August 29th dressed to run. All practices will begin outside door 12. Remember your water bottle!
- Roads, Rails and Racecars will be starting soon. Club will be on Mondays. Sign up in Mr. Lempka’s room (129) this week after school.
- We will begin selling yearbooks tomorrow during lunch. Bring $17 to reserve your copy.
- 7th grade girls soccer will start Monday, Aug. 28th. 8th grade girls’ volleyball and 7th & 8th grade BOYS soccer will start on Wednesday, Aug. 31. 7th grade girls volleyball will start on Thursday, Sept. 1st. Please sign up in the gym if you are interested.
- Do you feel you are a strong leader or want to refine your leadership skills? Are you interested in making a difference at Lefler and in the community? If so, Lefler Student Council may be the right fit for you! There will be a brief after school meeting on Wednesday, August 31 in room 227 for any interested returning and potential new members. All grades are welcome to attend! Please see Miss Pauley in Room 227 or Room 215 if you are interested but cannot attend the meeting.
