STUDENT NEWS:

  • Congratulations to this week’s Fine Dining winners: 6th grade, Emilie Alles and Vanessa Molina; 7th grade, Breanna Bender and Aaron Harris; and 8th grade, Cameron Sharp and Grant Snelling.
  • Washington DC student Meeting after school today Thursday, April 16th to look at some of the places we will be going to when we go to DC.  Only 47 more days.
  • We are nearing the last few weeks of school. Have you reserved your copy of the Lefler yearbook? There is still time. Bring $17 tomorrow during lunch and we will reserve you a copy.
  • Track practice is today after school from 3-4:30.
  • Hey 8th graders, are you ready for high school? Joining Color Guard makes the transition easier, gives you a fun activity to do, and you gain a whole group of friends before the first day of school! Southeast color guard is having tryouts from April 20-23, from 5:30-8:30 in the south gym. You know you want to be there!
  • Students who want to explore their interest in computers using state of the art hardware and software can apply for the LPS Summer Technology Program. More information is available in the front office.
