STUDENT NEWS:

  • There is 8th grade boys’ basketball practice today after school until 5:00. Team pictures for the yearbook will also be taken today. 7th grade boys’ basketball will have yearbook pictures on Friday. Remember to bring your jerseys!
  • Washington DC scholarships are due this Friday.  If you have questions, please see Mrs. Fowler this week.
  • Musical cast – there are still a large number of you that have not turned in your scripts to Mrs. Oltman.  Please do so immediately!
  • 8th graders interested in attending Southeast High School should attend their information night TONIGHT starting at 7:00.   North Star’s is next Thursday, January 29th at 7:00.  Don’t forget that if you wish to attend a high school outside your attendance area you must turn in a school choice form by January 31st.  They are available in the counseling center.
  • The Lincoln Southeast High School Trap Team would like to invite you to become a member of their team. This high school sport is a fun, rewarding activity that focuses on sportsmanship, shooting etiquette and safety. The team is comprised of Senior shooters, grades 9-12 and Junior shooters, grades 6-8. If you are interested, please pick up information in the front office.
  • If you would like to attend a Lincoln High School athletic event, there are coupons available in the front office for free admission.
  • All middle school girls who are interested in coming to East High School and like basketball, we will be having a Future Spartan Girls’ basketball clinic on Jan. 30th at 4:00p.m. Stop by the main office for more information.
  • 6th – 8th grade boys are invited to attend the Lincoln East Future Spartan Basketball Night on Friday, Jan. 23. If you are interested, stop by the main office and pick up information and a registration form.
  • The LPS Oral Spelling Bee will be Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Culler Middle School. The Spelling Bee is open to students in grades 5-8. More information is available in the main office or from your English teacher.
