- 7th grade girls basketball practice is today after school until 4:30.
- Tomorrow is a PLC day, therefore students will be dismissed at 1:38. Please make your transportation arrangements accordingly.

- Here is a message from your UNMC Nursing students. This is the moment that you have all been waiting for! Results of the Grab n’ Go competition. As you know, the winners will get to wear slippers and hats on Tuesday!! We are very proud of each grade- each one made improvements in eating breakfast…but the winners are…Drum roll please…!!!! 7th grade! Which improved grab n’ go participation by 13%! Even though the competition has ended, remember that eating breakfast can help you win more than just being able to wear hats and slippers- it can help you get better grades, have a healthier weight, and have more energy! Thanks for your efforts on improvements Lefler! Congratulations and great job 7th grade!!!
- The Lighthouse will be having a Thanksgiving Dinner Tuesday, November 25th at 5:30 p.m. Lighthouse youth and their immediate family members are invited.
- Gratitude quote for the day: “Gratitude turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity…it makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates vision for tomorrow.”
- Write positive notes of gratitude to teachers, counselors, or other staff through November 25.
- Lefler Penny Wars is over, and we raised $421.51! We exceeded our goal of $400! This money will be used to purchase Thanksgiving Dinner for 3 Lefler families on Thursday! The overall grade level break down was:
4th place-7th grade with -7289 points
3rd place-6th grade with -6970 points
2nd place-Staff with -6089 points
Winners- 8th Grade with -1743 points
8th grade will receive a movie period tomorrow for winning! Thank you all for donating!
