  • This is another fit for Friday fun fact from your UNMC nursing students, to remind you of the importance of eating breakfast each morning. Did you know that eating breakfast can help you do better in school!? Your bowl of cheerios can actually help improve your test scores.  In fact, one study showed that students who ate breakfast scored higher on even the trickiest subjects like math! And it helped decrease tardiness and absences. Prizes will still be handed out every Friday for five lucky students in each grade who get a Grab ‘n Go breakfast before class! The grade that gets the most Grab ‘n Go breakfasts throughout November will win the grand prize. That’s right! And the grand prize is a movie day on November 25th and the whole grade will get to wear hats and slippers throughout the day. So remember, to get you grab ‘n go each morning to win prizes and be healthier!
