STUDENT NEWS:

  • 7th and 8th grade girls, it’s not too late to join the Lefler basketball team.  Simply show up to practice! 7th grade girls basketball practice is today after school until 4:30.
  • There are free sports clinics at Lincoln High for Soccer, Basketball, and Wrestling.  Please pick up a flyer in the gym area if you are interested.
  • Boys’ soccer:  Please turn in your CLEAN jerseys to Mr. Wenzl.
  • If you were gone last Friday when pictures were handed out, please go to B-4 to pick up your picture packet.
  • CONGRATULATIONS to ALL 7th & 8th grade VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS on a GREAT SEASON! Thank you for all your hard work! There will be a 7th & 8th grade VOLLEYBALL MEETING next week after school in Room C-23! Please bring knee pads or any other items that were checked out to you for the season!
  • As always remember what ROAR stands for: Be Respectful take ownership and be accepting and be responsible.
  • The annual Latina Youth Leadership conference is coming up in December.  This is a fun and inspiring day that all middle school Latina girls are invited to attend.  If you would like to participate, please stop by the counseling center (B-4) to pick up a registration packet.  Registration forms need to be signed by parents/guardians and are due by Friday, October 24th.  If you have any questions, please see Ms. Sturek, the 8th grade counselor.
  • 7th and 8th grade Cross Country participants. Please return your clean jersey to C10 or C11.
  • 6th – 8th grade boys are invited to attend the Lincoln East Midnight Madness Basketball Celebration on Friday, Oct. 24. If you are interested, stop by the front office and pick up information and a registration form.
  • Picture Retake Day is next Tuesday, October 21. You may only retake your pictures for the following reasons: 1) you were absent on the original picture day; 2) you were present on picture day, but did not order pictures; or 3) there is a flaw with your picture. For the first two reasons, you will need a picture order form. They are available in the front office.
  • PAWSitive ticket winners: 6th grade, Jordan Pewthers; 7th grade, Mykayla Roberts; and 8th grade, Summer Stanley. Congratulations!
