STUDENT NEWS:
- 7th and 8th grade boys and girls’ soccer and 8th grade girls volleyball starts today. 7th grade girls volleyball will start on Thursday. Practice times are from 3:00 to 4:30.
- Cross Country will begin on Wednesday, August 27 with a meeting in C10 with Mrs. Oliver and Mr. Lempka from 3:15 to 4:00. Do NOT dress to run. Sixth graders may participate in practices; however only 7th and 8th graders may compete in meets. Please be on time and have transportation arranged by door 12 on Wednesday at 4pm.
- Students: it is not too late to sign-up for Student Council. Please see Mr. Bax in C20 for more details.
- Congratulations to all who ran the August PACER. The top girls’ score was 84 laps by 8th grader, Cassie Nash and 100 laps was the top boys’ score held by 6th grader, Oliver Edwards. Incredible!
- Lefler Singers will meet tonight from 3:08 – 4 pm in A-1. New singers are welcome in all grades.
- This is a reminder that the only students who should be in the Team Time rooms are those students who have been assigned. If your sibling has been assigned to Team Time and you need to wait for him or her to go home, you must go to the Homework Zone in the Media Center and do homework or read quietly until your sibling can meet you there. Siblings should not be in the hallways or other areas of the school waiting. You must be with an adult supervisor or leave school grounds.
