STUDENT NEWS:
- April is National Poetry month. Come and try your hand at “Finding” a poem! Stop by the Library after school, if you’d like to enter a “Found” poetry contest. Mr. Purtzer will explain the rules, and has a few prizes for the top 3 poems. The deadline for entering will be April 30th. Enter today and don’t delay……….:)
- 7th/8th grade track practice starts today after school.
- Congratulations to the Lefler wrestling team on a great season! Leo Celis set new school records in the categories of takedowns, reversals, near fall twos, and season wins. Sam McCain set a new school record in escapes. Kaylob Ash set a new school record in technical falls and shares the record for near fall threes with Leo Celis. Kolby Demery and Dawson Effle now share the school record for pins. These new school records and other season honorable mentions can now be viewed in the record case in the gym hallway. Additional thanks go to student manager Alyssa Peterson for collecting these statistics.
