A School Counselor:
- Advocates for all students at school.
- Provides individual & small group interventions and guidance.
- Works with teachers and parents to provide helpful suggestions for students’ needs.
- Provides classroom guidance on a variety of topics.
- Helps students understand themselves and others.
- Works with ALL students to identify their academic, social and emotion needs.
- Make available information about community resources that benefit students and families.
