Each year the Assessment Department at Lincoln Public Schools conducts ‘climate surveys’ to measure parent satisfaction. The survey comes in an email from LPS-ESU18@qualtrics-surveys.com, and each school’s email will look different. You may receive multiple emails but you only need to take the survey once. The deadline for completion is March 17. Thank you for helping us better serve our families.

Spirit Wear (New)
It’s Spirit Wear time again. The online store opens February 24th and closes at midnight on March 16th.
We do have sample sizes (Small and Large for each of the offered items) in the office. Please be sure to check sizing before you purchase as there will be no exchanges.
Plant Sale (New)
The Kloefkorn PTO had great success last year with Janet’s Jungle Plant Sales and have decided to partner with them again for this year’s big fundraiser! Janet’s Jungle sells high quality plants at great prices. Plants and distributors are personally selected by Janet and her team, and all plants are locally grown right here in the Midwest. You’ll be getting premium plants and supporting our school!
Sales will begin on Friday, March 3rd and plant pick up is Saturday, April 29th. Orders will be due Monday, April 10th. Late orders will not be accepted this time so please make sure you get the order in by the due date.
Prizes will be given for top selling students, top selling classrooms, and for achieving the school wide goal. More information will be coming home in your oldest or only child’s Friday Folder on March 3rd.
Kloefkorn Science Fair
The Kloefkorn Science Fair will be this Monday, February 27th from 5:30PM to 6:30PM. Projects can be set up that morning between 8:00AM and 8:15AM or after school between 2:53PM and 5:30PM. Please do not park in the loop or the staff parking lot during drop off and pick up hours. We ask that you use side streets for parking to insure the safety of students. If you are dropping off in the morning you will need to check in and out with the office.
Projects will not be judged and only 5th graders are required to participate, but it is open to all grades. If you have any questions contact Jennifer Thompson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In case you missed it! Yearbook order forms that came home this year were from LifeTouch instead of the usual half sheet from the PTO. If you missed that, it’s not too late to order! Yearbook orders are due this upcoming Wednesday, March 1st. You can order one by filling out the form and sending payment to the school or by ordering online by following this link and entering code 11701517. Yearbooks are $18.04. All checks need to be made out to Lifetouch. (Read More)
