Welcome to the Kloefkorn Elementary School web site! Kloefkorn, Lincoln Public Schools’ newest elementary school, is currently under construction at 6601 Glass Ridge Drive. We are scheduled to open in August 2012 and are extremely proud to carry the name of distinguished, late Nebraska State Poet, Bill Kloefkorn.
I am honored to be the first principal of Kloefkorn School and look so forward to meeting our students and families. The exciting and energizing work we have ahead of us begins with imagining the place we want Kloefkorn School to be. Developing our school vision will be a collective venture, and will ultimately influence the decisions we make about policies, practices, and procedures. We will change and grow as we establish ourselves as a strong community of learners – staff, students, and families.
My personal vision for Kloefkorn School is clear… To create a safe, engaging, and welcoming learning environment where EXCELLENCE in teaching and learning thrives.
