The Junior Youth Orchestra rehearses Thursdays at Irving Middle School, 4:15-5:45 during the school year.

2012-2013 Concert Dates
- Thursday, Dec. 6, 7:00pm Irving Middle School (Rehearsal 4:15-5:15, back to Irving at 6:30pm)
- Thursday, Jan. 17, 7:00pm Pershing Auditorium (Rehearsal 11:30-12:15 at Pershing. No rehearsal at 4:15)
- Thursday, April 11, 7:00pm Irving Middle School Auditorium (Rehearsal 4:15-5:15, back to Irving at 6:30pm)
- Saturday, April 20, 11am-6pm, Northstar High School, (Joint rehearsals and concert with the Des Moines Junior Youth Orchestra) This is an exciting event that students won’t want to miss!!! (A more detailed schedule will be posted after the first of the year.)

Dr. Karen Becker is conductor of the Junior Youth Orchestra again this year. Dr. Becker is Associate Professor of Cello at UNL and Principal Cellist of the Lincoln Symphony.
