The 7th grade Language Communication Arts class provides students with instruction intheatre arts, research skills, oral presentation, and listening skills. Students develop key vocal and performance skills through improvisation, reader’s theatre, and ensemble performances. During the oral presentation unit, students research a career of personal interest. This information is developed into a formal presentation that is delivered to the class. Students also participate in a variety of research and writing experiences including note taking, scriptwriting, and an expository essay. Seventh Grade Nebraska State Language Arts Standards are assessed through coursework.
