First They Killed My Father Important Vocabulary (link): Students studied important vocabulary terms that they will encounter in the novel.  Students had about 25 minutes to complete as many as possible.

Reading Assignment #3: Students should read pages 56-92 for Tuesday, 8/30 and complete the corresponding study guide (link).  Students spent the latter half of class reading our novel.
