Functional Learners will practice work skills at North Star and in the larger community. Work skills assignments are determined by work skills history, student’s learning strengths and personal interests. Students are required to dress appropriately for community work skill sites, including closed-toe shoes. All students and parents/guardians will sign work skills permission documents prior to students attending community sites. Students will attend community work sites beginning on August 29, 2011.
