It is easiest for students to write about how to do something, when they have recently done it… so after watching me make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and then writing about it, we created MARBLED EGGS. As a class, we then wrote about HOW-TO make marbled eggs. Students must include a lead, supplies, the steps, and a conclusion. We had a lot of fun creating… and a we ended up with a great story that they can use as directions at home!
