This will be my sixth year teaching at Maxey Elementary School.  I have been teaching for LPS since 1998, with 13 years at Fredstrom and 5 years at Humann prior to joining Maxey.  Along with my first grade experience, I have also taught third grade and special education.  I am a Minnesota native but still enjoy watching the Huskers.  My twin sons attended Maxey so I know what a great place it is to be.  My husband Mark and I enjoy attending all the activities that our twin sons are involved in.  Zach is a sophomore at Nebraska Wesleyan and Mike is a sophomore at UNK.  In my free time, I also enjoy reading, biking, traveling, and playing with our dog Brody.  I am looking forward to this school year!
