The Purpose of the Instructional Technology Coaches Lesson Plan is to

I.  Create a systematic approach to model instructional technology lessons for teachers and students in the classroom.  The lesson plan is designed by both the classroom teacher and the instructional technology coach to share and use collaboratively throughout the Lincoln Public Schools Title I buildings.  The lesson will follow the curriculum objectives in place for each grade level and each subject area.  In addition, the lesson will reflect Nebraska State Standards,  National Technology Standards/21st Century Skills, and LPS District standards for each lesson.

II.  Provide a quality resource to the Lincoln Public School Title 1 teacher who strives to develop innovative and creative ways to deliver quality instructional content for the student, the classroom, the community.

III.  Serve as a collaborative tool for the teacher to share lessons by working with the instructional technology coach.  As teachers and coaches combine efforts to create innovative lessons, efforts will be made by the coaches to deliver the lessons as a partnership among the LPS Elementary Title 1 schools.
