February 13, 2018

The SOTW next week is to remain in your assigned area throughout the school day. When you remain in your assigned area throughout the day, you are being a safe and responsible student.

Mr. Hammack was nominated for a Staff Like by Serenity because he is a very good teacher, and I enjoy being in his class.  Mrs. Lukesh was nominated by Heidi Buettner because she always goes more into what she was talking about. If anyone has a question, she answers it in a good way.

Interested in learning about 3D printing technology?  Join Irving’s newest club; The 3D Printing Club, sponsored by Mr. Brown.  The first informational meeting will be Thursday, February 15th in the media center at 3:10.

7th graders: Don’t forget your 8th grade Registrations are due today. If you have questions, stop in and see Mrs. Krien. Lunchtime is a fabulous time to talk to her.

Your chance to look more closely at foxes, skunks, coyotes and raccoons is coming up this Thursday at Chimney Swift Club. Come explore skulls, pelts, furs, and tracks in room 114 at this after school club. All are welcome! See Ms. Hughes if you have questions.

The Irving recreation center is closed Monday, February 19th to observe President’s day. There will not be an after school program this day. If you normally come to the rec center, please make sure you have plans to be picked up at the end of the school day.
