The SOTW this week is to remember to keep your cell phone off and in your locker during the school day. When you have your cell phone off and in your locker, you are demonstrating that you are a responsible student.

This Thursday the Irving Chimney Swift Club will be hosting Dr. Dennis Ferraro, a rock star herpetologist with UNL! Herpetology is a branch of zoology concerned with reptiles and amphibians. See Ms. Hughes if you have questions.

Parent/Guardian Informational Meetings

An important component in the transition process are the informational meetings at the six LPS high schools in January.  Since students entering the ninth grade may choose the high school they want to attend in LPS, these meetings have been scheduled to give students and their guardians to attend more than one high school meeting before the January 31st deadline for submitting the “High School Choice” form.
