SOTW  –  Make sure all beverages brought into Irving are a part of your school lunch and unopened. When you meet this expectations, you are demonstrating that you are a responsible student who understands the school wide expectations.

 

Mrs. Fauber was nominated for a Staff Like by Jacob Tunnison because she has a fun lesson almost every day.

 

Student Council will be selling candy canes after school beginning this Wednesday, December 6th.  Prices range from $0.10 to $0.50.  Sales will be located both by the main office and in the basement for 6th grade.  Buy a candy cane (or two) and help support your Student Council!

 

Attention newspaper staff: Our next meeting is Monday, December 11 in room 218. Please plan on attending.

 

It’s fun to be fit, isn’t it?  Today we kick off an opportunity to help all students, teachers and staff become more active in creative ways through the Play a New Way Challenge.  Your teachers will be telling you more about this opportunity for active fun.  Be sure to track your efforts each day and try something new!

Intramural Drama, Speech and Debate is accepting registrations for all interested 6th, 7th and 8th grader students. A family information session will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Southeast High School in the auditorium.  Please see your English teacher for more information or to pick up a registration form.  Information is also available in the Parent Center on the LPS website.

 

The LPS Oral Spelling Bee will be Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Culler Middle School. The Spelling Bee is open to students in grades 5-8. More information is available from your English teacher.  Information is also available in the Parent Center on the LPS website.
