Pawsitively Awesome-CircleLogo-HumannWelcome to Humann Elementary School, home of the Humann Huskies! Humann opened its doors in the Fall of 1990 and is named in honor of longtime Lincoln educator, Julius Humann. This year we celebrate the 25th anniversary of our school.

Currently more than 590 students are part of our school community. Our school consists of an Early Childhood preschool program, four classes of Kindergarten, five classes of First, four classes of Second, four classes of Third, five classes of Fourth and four classes of Fifth Grades. Specialists teachers in Art, Music, P.E., Technology, and Library Media use their expertise and talents to provide a well rounded program.

Our Humann staff is committed to making school a great experience for our students. Humann staff work diligently to provide instruction for students at their success level, differentiating instruction so that all students are challenged and feel success.

At Humann, we realize the importance and power of collective collaboration and that all of us bring different gifts. We are organized into instructional teams in order to help support the unique strengths and talents of each of our students.

We value the partnership with our parents and our community. Parents know their children best and this parent and school partnership is valuable in helping us to support the unique needs of students.

We are fortunate to have an active and supportive PTO. The PTO offers many educational enrichment supports that provide opportunities and experiences for students that otherwise would not exist. The PTO allows parents multiple opportunities to become involved in different activities that support our students and school.

We hope you will take some time to explore our website to learn more about the opportunities that exist at Humann.
